To my regular readers, I decided this morning to post these Journal updates to my Facebook “fan” page at https://www.facebook.com/AuthorStanbrough/. So I’m gonna write a little intro here for newbies.
For those of you who are seeing this on Facebook, I’m a professional fiction writer. I have written 27 novels, 4 novellas, and over 180 short stories. This is an almost-daily Journal in which I update my progress on my current work in progress.
In this Journal I also talk about various writing and publishing topics as well as some of the day-to-day stuff of living life as a professional writer. Finally, there’s almost always an “Of Interest” section in which I link to items of interest I’ve seen around the web.

Okay, back to our regularly scheduled programming. (grin)
Today was a planned day off. My bride and I will be doing an early spring cleaning of the casa today and probably tomorrow.
But in a first session this morning, I put down 800 very exciting words on the novel. So I’m pleased, especially as today was supposed to be a nonwriting day.
And I’m pretty sure I’ll be able to sneak away for another break of an hour or so later today for another session. Who knows… I might actually make my word count today.
Well, I didn’t, quite, but I’ll take it, especially for a nonwriting day. (grin)
