Hey Folks,
I’ll be off to teach my workshop this morning at around 9, so I’ll post this early. Looking very forward to seeing some old friends again, and making one new friend. I’m also looking forward to seeing how the workshop goes. (grin)
UPDATE: Well, I forgot to post it early. The workshop went even better than I expected. I’m psyched. (grin)
As a reminder, in the workshop, I’ll cover Hooks, Openings, Grounding the Reader in the Story, Physical and Emotional Cliffhangers, Pacing and Endings.
At the end of the workshop, I’ll also talk a bit about Process. There will be some discussion of the conscious vs. the subconscious mind (their roles), trusting the subconscious, cycling and some other stuff.
I’ll off this workshop one more time, on a Saturday, probably in September or October. The room holds only maybe ten people max, and I currently have six who are interested.
I’ll announce the specific date here later.

This is about real gangsters and real life, not the droopy-pants wannabe “gangsta” brats roaming around being annoying.
Specifically, if you want to learn what really happened to Hoffa and JFK, buy the book. This stuff isn’t opinion or conjecture.
I don’t read a lot of nonfiction that isn’t about writing, but “I Heard You Paint Houses” was excellent both as a research resource and to satisfy my morbid curiosity.
