It’s been awhile since I stopped taking my books to print, so I was behind the curve on this one.

Out to the Hovel a little late. I got a two short, disjointed sessions done, then one good third session and wound up with just over 2000 words of fiction on the day. But I’m feeling a little under the weather so I’ll cut my losses and take it.
I also realized I hadn’t done a reverse outline for this one yet (I’m in Chapter 23), so I went back and did that too.
Not sure what will happen over the weekend, of course. I’ll definitely work on the copyedit off and on, but not sure what I’ll get done on the WIP.
That’s really about it for today.

I’ve been looking at the shift from Creatspace to KDP Print. Seems as though it should be an easy enough change. No more setting up a Kindle version and a print version. I still need to looking into quality issues.
I agree, JR. I’m just not certain whether KDP Print will offer the same free service offered by CreateSpace. (It wasn’t free for me anyway, but it cost me only $100 per book to have another person do the back cover, spine, and interior layout.)
But I probably won’t look into it further myself because, for me, the return in print sales doesn’t justify the cost. And frankly (again, for me), the ridiculously low royalty is a low-aimed kick.
