“Just remember, you can’t climb the ladder of success with your hands in your pockets.” Arnold Schwarzenegger
A Note to New Readers of TNDJ
Hey, guys and gals, if you don’t know, you can email me anytime to claim the PDF, fully searchable archives for TNDJ for the past four years.
These are free.
Now and then I go through a period where nobody’s asking me questions about writing. That leads to me not posting about the actual craft of writing or publishing as much as I’d like.
So I made the archives available so you can search them for any relevant topics. It’s like a free mentorship.
If you want them, email me at harveystanbrough@gmail.com. I don’t even ‘collect’ your email address, and I’ll send them right out.
And if you DO happen to have any questions, you can email me with those too.
Finally, also be sure to stop by the Journal website. There’s a lot of free stuff there.
The TNDJ Challenges Report
The whole point of these challenges is to have fun and grow as a writer.
There is no cost. Feel free to jump in at any time.
Participating in any challenge is a way to drive yourself to the computer or legal pad and write fiction. It’s also a great way to build and maintain a streak.
As if writing more and better fiction isn’t enough, I even offer prizes. To see those, please visit The NEW TNDJ Challenges.

How to Edit Emotion in Romance & Women’s Fiction As usual with WITS articles, read with the conscious mind, but write with the creative mind. And it’s a good idea not to limit emotion only to Romance and Women’s Fiction. Just sayin’.
