Blackwell Ops 54: A Most Unusual Day is officially out there.
A few days ago, I noticed a glitch in one of the episodes that went live on Stanbrough Writes. And I’d noticed a few other glitches in other installments earlier.
Of course, still about half the novel was left to post in installments. So yesterday morning I opened the Word doc and cycled over each remaining chapter, allowing myself and the characters to touch it as I read.
Then as I finished each chapter, I posted a new installment to replace what was already there. So both the remaining installments and the manuscript are as spotless as I can make them.
Then, since the thing was done, I went ahead and published it through D2D and Amazon, and listed it on my online store.
Then I added a note to the end of the installment that will go live today at 10 a.m.

All Quiet on the Western Front
Haven’t gotten any questions about writing or publishing recently, hence little or nothing to talk about in TNDJ.
Even if you want to ask about why I wrote a particular thing in a particular way in an installment over at Stanbrough Writes, hey, that’s the main reason I’m posting them over there.
By the way, did anybody see even a single meteor from the alleged Perseids early on Thursday morning? No clouds in that segment of sky here as I walked to work, but nary a shooting star.
There is a pretty good Of Interest section this morning. Dean’s 4k seminar starts on Monday, and he also wrote a post about branding. Maybe most notably, in the first link Dave Chesson talks about copywriting a book (though he means how to REGISTER a copyright).
Of course your work is copyrighted the instant it’s in fixed form (manuscript).
