to talk about today.
I’ll add to the novel this morning. I suspect it will wrap in the next day or two or maybe three.
Probably like most of you, I’ll check election results now and then. After all, it’s only every two or four years.
This afternoon I have a doc appointment (routine). I’ll deliver a test sample, undergo a very minor procedure, and and be back in the TNDJ saddle tomorrow morning.
In the Meantime
a couple of things……
1. I’m not accepting any other collaboration offers at the moment and I’ve removed that offer from both of my websites.
Once my current novel’s finished (or maybe before) I’ll look over an opening chapter one would-be collaboration partner sent me and hope the characters will invite me in to continue the story.
I’ll also look over two other openings to see whether I might be a fit for another would-be collaboration partner.
And a third possible partner, I believe, is preparing yet another opening chapter for another novel, so I’ll look that over when it comes in.
Everything depends on whether the characters invite me in to continue the story. If I’m fortunate, at least three sets of characters will do so.
If that happens, when I start my own next novel, I’ll be writing up to four novels at the same time. (grin) One of my own, and one each in collaboration with one, two, or three other writers.
Of course, those writers will own the copyright to their own novel. So what do I get out of it?
For me, it will be intense practice at remembering that putting new words on the page is what matters. Into which story those words go is of no consequence.
