Quote of the Day

“[T]he next time a traditionally-published author or agent talks about Amazon ruining the book business, some might be tempted to say that the New York book business deserves to be ruined.” The Passive Guy

From AuthorsPublish.com, “You are invited to attend a free lecture and Q&A session with New York Times Bestselling Author Emily Colin. She’ll be giving a talk on “Taming the Wild Beast: Making Inspiration Work for You.

“The lecture is completely free. There will be an audience Q&A session at the end. Register to Attend the Free Lecture at https://www.authorspublish.com/free-author-lecture-making-inspiration-work-for-you/.”

Adapted from Peter de Vries, the following is in the signature of every email I send out: “I only write when I’m inspired. So I see to it that I’m inspired every morning at 3 a.m.”

My son and his beautiful girl Cathy were visiting this weekend, so on Saturday (Day 1) I wrote only a little over 1500 words on the novel, but it’s a start. (grin) And per usual, the story is running. I love this series.

Today, back to the novel.

Talk with you again soon.
