Quote of the Day

“The most regretful people on earth are those… who felt their own creative power restive and uprising, and gave to it neither power nor time.” Mary Oliver

As advertised, I played a little yesterday and finished “Turnaround.” I wasn’t sure of the title when I started (it was just what occurred to me) but the reason for the title became clear as the story wrapped up. (grin) I love it when that happens.

In response to the October 19 post, my friend Robert S. wrote “I think this is the best ‘full & nuanced explanation’ of WITD you’ve thus far cast out into the Universe.”

Thanks, Robert. Glad I’m improving. (grin) I like to come at a topic in different ways for different readers. And I don’t mind repeating information for new readers.

If ya’ll find the Journal helpful, please remember to tell your writer friends.

Not a lot in the body of the Journal today, but several links. Speaking of which, did anyone else get story ideas from the Stephen Hawking link from the first post on October 19? Just wondering. I got at least two ideas for SF novels.

I’ve written four or five short stories during my break from writing. If any of my patrons would like to read any of them, email me at harveystanbrough@gmail.com. I’ll be happy to send them out in PDF, albeit sans covers for the time being.

Talk with you later.
