First, here’s the pic I meant to include yesterday. This is a photograph of the print of the painting by Vivian Flasch on which I based the short story “Silence Is Better.”

Well, yesterday I had a pretty good day (see Day 17). Hopefully I’ll have the same kind of day today.

Today I remembered I haven’t written the story story for this week yet, so (probably because I was reading Raymond Chandler quotes this morning) I wrote “The Strange Case of Marlene Stratford,” a Stern Talbot PI short story.
