Hey Folks,
Well, I finished the edit at about 8 a.m. after a final few hours of editing. Then I ran over it again with Find & Replace just to double check on a couple of global changes, then ran a spell check. I finally sent it off at around 9:30 a.m.
I didn’t plan to write today. I usually need to wind down after an edit, especially a lengthy one. I planned to start reading a novel today.
I’d heard of a really good crime author from James Scott Bell. The critics rave about this author (I won’t mention his name), but he lost me after about 10 pages. The action just got REALLY slow and, for me, the novel bogged down.
So I thought I might as well head out to the Hovel and look over what I’d written on Versailles.
I started reading through it, but another idea came over me. So I opened a blank document, typed Pulp 9 at the top of the page, Stern Talbot, PI on the next line, and started typing.
Before I realized what was going on, I’d typed over 1900 words. Then I came up here for a break and to get my flash drive.
Pretty sure this is the one I’ll return to in the morning, so Versailles is on the back burner for awhile. (grin) It’s good to visit with Stern again.
