Hey Folks,
Hmmm… The May 1 edition of the Journal didn’t go out for some reason. My apologies. I posted it, but apparently MailChimp didn’t disseminate it.
Of interest in yesterday’s edition, possibly, I delineated the difference between the Writer and the Author, with a stellar example. You can see the post at http://hestanbrough.com/the-journal-tuesday-may-1/.
Anyway, this SNAFU with the Journal prompted me to make two major changes, as follows:
Of Interest Section — From now on, for an entry to make it into the “Of Interest” section it will have to pass two tests:
1. I believe it’s valuable information, and
2. I believe it’s something you might not otherwise see.
Frequency — I’ll be posting new editions of the Journal less frequently. There’s no reason to post one like yesterday’s, for example.
I also thought about getting rid of a lot of the stats I’ve been carrying at the bottom of the Journal.
But I don’t want to do that quite yet. I like seeing it there, even though my production for 2018 thus far is WAY down.
