Yesterday was a much better day of writing with well over 4000 words (see Day 7). The only thing that slows the process is stopping now and then to integrate the March novel with the current one.
More than once I’ve felt like it would have been wiser (and easier and a lot more fun) to just trash the whole thing and start over like I was going to do in the first place. But I have so much of it done now, that’s no longer an option.
A lot of people don’t have money to spend right now but still want to learn about writing.

Today I hope to have another great day on the novel. Believe it or not, the big overall novel (For the Good of the Galaxy) feels like it’s approaching the end at around 80,000 words. I hope so.
Once I feel this one is over, I’ll probably take a day off, then cycle through the whole thing to be sure the timeline is consistent and to let my characters add any minor but necessary transitions. Then it will go out to my first readers for their valued opinion.
