Out to the Hovel late at 8:30. I spent some time looking through some of the stuff I started when I was writing my previous novel.
Stories I started but that either didn’t appeal to me at the time or that fizzled. I didn’t find much to play with that grabbed me at the moment.
Then at about 9:30, a line popped into my head: “It wasn’t the best night to dump a body.” And I was off and writing.
Annnd then, not so much. I wrote a little over 1200 words before I realized I really just wasn’t into it. I just don’t want to write this story right now. It isn’t fun.
I was going to break at 10:30, then come back and keep looking. But I have only a half-day today and some other things to do. So I’m gonna call this one done and start fresh tomorrow. Or maybe the next day.
