Yesterday, I rolled out around 2, and by 10 I’d cycled up through Chapter 36 and added two new chapters from the alien POV. So my word count at 10 a.m. was already pretty good at over 2900 words. Amazing how much of the alien stuff I left out of the novel back in March.
But I don’t think I need anymore new chapters. And I’ve taken care of timeline issues as I went through. So I just need to finish cycling through the remaining 10 chapters and I’ll be finished.
I got up through the middle of Chapter 44 and added the words you see in Day 6 below. I should be through with it tomorrow.

Frankly, I was a little surprised I wasn’t flooded with emails when I mentioned this the other day. Your story doesn’t have to be SF to fit in this world. It can be romance, action-adventure, or almost any other genre.
Today I’ll finish the novel. Not a lot more to say about that. Shrug. Hope you have a good writing day today.
