Yesterday was a very good day (see Day 15) even though I didn’t make my new word count goal. The end of the novel is in sight. In fact, I expect to finish it today.
Yesterday was also my last day on cigars, so my head is a little foggy today. I’m hoping it won’t make much difference when I move over to the novel. If it does, this might be a nonwriting day. We’ll see.
UPDATE: Yep. Definitely a nonwriting day unless my head clears considerably later today. I should be able to get back to the novel tomorrow.
Anyway, regardless of when I finish this one, I’ll celebrate a little. This is novel 50, which feels like a milestone to me.
After that I’ll go over the first novel and get it ready to launch on June 1. Then I’ll spell check this one and send it out to my first readers. Then I’ll decide what to do next.
